Entertainment last year

New to our festival last year was Kenny Phelps who has played with Monika Herzig and Rob Dixon (both favorites at Jazz on the Monon) and Twisted Gold!

We had a variety of entertainment scheduled for the festival including returning favorites: The Maple Trio (smooth jazz), The Tides Band (rock & fusion), Rushingwind & The Native Groove (native flute), Jimmy the Doorman (rock), Barometer Soup (rock) the Minyo Dancers and Indianapolis Ballet Conservatory … so many more.

Our young artists included returning King Court Singers (from North Central) and for the first time at our festival the Indy Jazz Futures appeared!

According to Festival Chair, Rosemary Waters, “International entertainment is a key part of the Carmel Arts Festival. We want to promote performing arts along with exhibits & booths from our juried artists.” This year’s festival promises to offer the pounding beat of rock, the cool jazz, and exciting dance performances against the backdrop of exceptional artists and dining options in the Carmel Arts and Design District Restaurants.
